**The international superstar could be among the high-profile names linked to the events surrounding the 2027 America’s Cup in Naples. There is no official confirmation yet, but the speculation is adding even more attention to the Italian host city.**

Naples prepares for a global spotlight

The 2027 America’s Cup could bring much more than the world's leading sailors and most technologically advanced racing yachts to Naples.

Update

International celebrities from music, cinema, fashion and entertainment are also expected to be drawn to one of the biggest sporting events ever hosted by the southern Italian city.

Update

One name now generating particular interest is **Jennifer Lopez**.

Update

The possibility of J.Lo appearing in Naples during the America’s Cup has inevitably sparked excitement, although her participation should currently be considered speculation unless and until an official announcement is made.

Update

If confirmed, her presence would add another layer of international glamour to an event already expected to attract worldwide attention.

Jennifer Lopez and Italy

Italy is certainly familiar territory for Jennifer Lopez.

Update

Over the years, the American singer, actress and performer has repeatedly visited the country for holidays, fashion events and exclusive performances.

Update

Her relationship with Italian fashion has also remained particularly strong, with Lopez appearing at major events connected with Dolce & Gabbana.

Update

Naples and the surrounding region are not unfamiliar to the superstar either, with previous visits to destinations including Capri and other locations around southern Italy.

Much more than a sailing competition

Naples is preparing to use the **38th America’s Cup** as much more than an international sailing championship.

Update

The competition has the potential to bring together sport, tourism, entertainment, culture, fashion and major international events, turning the city and its waterfront into a global stage.

Update

The Gulf of Naples will provide an extraordinary natural backdrop as some of the world's fastest and most technologically sophisticated sailing yachts compete in front of one of the Mediterranean's most recognisable skylines.

A worldwide showcase for Naples

The presence of major international celebrities could significantly expand the global reach of the event.

Update

Stars followed by millions of people around the world can bring additional exposure through television, international media and social networks, spreading images of Naples far beyond the traditional sailing audience.

Update

For the city, this represents one of the greatest opportunities connected with hosting the America’s Cup: using the sporting event to strengthen Naples' international image and attract visitors long after the final race has ended.

Will J.Lo really be there?

For now, the possibility of seeing Jennifer Lopez in Naples during the 2027 America’s Cup remains something to watch rather than a confirmed appointment.

Update

But the growing speculation itself shows how the event is beginning to move beyond the world of sailing.

Update

As 2027 approaches, Naples is increasingly positioning itself at the centre of international attention — and if global stars such as J.Lo join the spectacle, the **America’s Cup in Naples could become one of the most glamorous sporting and entertainment events of the year.**
